About the role:
  • Assist participants in obtaining social housing allocation within the first year of the program. 
  • Provide ongoing case management support to establish and maintain secure housing. 
  • Support to address participants’ mental and physical health needs through trauma-informed care. 
  • Offer support for parenting and family functioning (for families with children). 
  • Empower participants to build capacity and resilience to avoid future homelessness.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE  

What you will bring. 

  • Demonstrated experience in strength-based, trauma informed case management support to vulnerable and disadvantaged community members with multiple and complex needs.  
  • Knowledge of Australian Housing First Principles.  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Public Housing Policies and Procedures. 
  • Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working with Children Check |Police Check 
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in social work (or trauma related field) and experience appropriate to the field (refer to Position Description).
