THE ROLE – We are looking for someone who can: –

Provide for long term trauma informed service delivery to victim survivors in the community.

Provide Comprehensive Risk Assessments and Safety Plans for all victim survivors.

Work with other agencies and government services in maintaining an effective and responsive service.

Assist all victim survivors to identify their own needs and prepare recovery plans.

Provide Specialist Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence support to mental health and trauma informed care for victim survivors.

Salary – SCHADS Award Level 5 | Pro rata based on annual rate of$97,377 P/A| + Superannuation | Annual indexation | Portable long service leave | Leave opportunities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE – what you will bring. –

Demonstrated experience in implementing trauma informed approaches to practice.

Proven ability to work with victim survivors who maybe experiencing mental health challenges due to Family, Domestic and Sexual violence.

Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive risk, safety, and wellbeing assessments.

Demonstrated understanding of assessment and therapeutic interventions.

Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working with Children Check |Police Check

*Minimum of bachelor’s in social work, or equivalent as per Family Safety Victoria minimum qualifications. *Family Safety Victoria‘s Minimum Mandatory Qualifications Requirements were introduced on 1st July, 2021 and further details are available at https://safeandequal.org.au/working-in-family-violence/minimum-qualifications/.
