About East Bairnsdale Community Hub

The East Bairnsdale Community Hub (EBCH) is a Neighbourhood House. It brings people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through support, social, recreational and educational activities. It’s all about communities working out what their own needs are. Communities have existing strengths and assets that make them part of the solution. Neighbourhood Houses welcome people from all walks of life.

The East Bairnsdale Community Hub is owned by the Directory of Housing, and is a collaborative partnership between the Department of Health and Human Services, Quantum, local organisations and the community.

The Hub is governed by a volunteer Governance Advisory Committee, Coordinated by paid staff, and able to run because of a fantastic group of volunteers who share their skills and help make the Hub a vibrant community space.
