The Youth Justice Community Support Service Support Worker role is to: provide engagement strategies and support that will achieve outcomes for Youth Justice Clients; Participate in the development and implementation of a range of strategies that assist young people to address areas of difficulty in a positive manner conducive to growth and personal development with the aim of reducing re-offending. You will develop partnerships, networks and liaise effectively with relevant services and supports to create linkages and options for young people in the program.
Are you motivated, enthusiastic with great communication skills, can you empower and encourage youth to address areas of personal difficulty and consider options for the development of personal wellbeing. To be successful in the role you will also have an appropriate tertiary qualification (Diploma or above) and extensive experience relevant to this position.
