JOB SUMMARY –

***Lead a dynamic team who support young people and their families in Gippsland transitioning from care services.

ABOUT THE ROLE –

Lead the Better Futures/ Leaving Care Suite of programs at Quantum in order to service those that are transitioning or have transitioned from the care services system. This includes the Leaving Care Housing Support, Homestretch, Planning 2 Succeed and Better Futures programs.

Provide direct day to day operational supervision and support to the staff providing these programs for Youth across the Gippsland region.

Utilise the Advantaged Thinking framework to shape the practice of yourself and your team in working with young people in Gippsland.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE –

Demonstrated experience in leadership

Demonstrated experience in working with young people at risk of homelessness

Understanding of child protection matters and legislation

Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence/Working with Children Check/Police Check

Minimum requirement of Diploma of Community Services or other relevant or appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or experience relevant to this position.
