Care Services Support Workers (Casual Positions)

THE ROLE –
- Provide support to children, young people and carers in line with the case plan.
- To safely transport children/young people to appointments, activities, respite and other engagements
- To supervise contact between children/young people and their families
- To provide case work support in a flexible manner including afterhours if needed.
- The ability to produce clear and concise written observation records and case notes.
- Participate in local and regional community youth and Care Services networks
The Ideal Candidate will bring:
- A working knowledge of the Care Services System in Victoria.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with professionals in matters relating to the transport and access of clients.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with children, young people, their families and carers.
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working with Children Check |Police Check
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience relevant to this position. Diploma of Community Services or related discipline (or if you are currently studying) will be considered. Final year Diploma students are strongly encouraged to apply.
